About Us

Based in Portland, OR, Upper Vee is an independent construction management consultancy partnering with businesses, particularly in real estate development, to effectively plan and execute their strategic goals.

Mike McGrew, founder of Upper Vee, holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oregon, and is also a certified Project management Professional (PMP). He is an industry veteran with over a decade of experience managing projects and advising C-suite teams. Mike has seen firsthand how easily projects can stall due to common challenges such as poor communication, legacy tech stacks, inaccurate forecasting, and lack of transparency – costly problems that affect the entire value chain.

Upper Vee was created after recognizing the critical need for individuals with the unique combined experience of construction, technology, and business strategy.
